The Motorclássico Fair is returning to FIL - Lisbon Exhibition and Congress Centre on April 5, 6 and 7. The largest portuguese show related to the classic motoring and automobile history is organized by Museu do Caramulo in partnership with FIL and gathers more than 160 exhibitors from several countries.

For this edition, the Motorclássico organization has prepared a varied and challenging program, with the participation of several commercial and institutional entities and is addressed not only to classic motoring fans but also to the general public.

The program for the 15th edition of Motorclássico includes an exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Citroën, the already traditional automobilia auction, rallies, classic motoring gatherings, book releases, among other activities that celebrate the classic motoring world. In 2018, the Motorclássico Fair received more than 40,000 visitors.

Theme exhibition on the 100th anniversary of Citroën

One of the main highlights of Motorclássico will be the exhibition celebrating the 100 years of the brand founded by André Citroën.

The exhibition will present a journey through the history of the brand, showing the most emblematic models of Citroën.

60 years of Mini

The 60th anniversary of the mythical Mini will be a highlight in the 2019 Motorclássico's edition. To celebrate this date a motoring ride will be carried out and the cars will be on display outside the fair's pavilion.

Bugatti Type 35B

Another highlight will be the presence of the competition car with the most victories ever, the Bugatti Type 35B,

The Type 35 racing career started in July 1924 at the French Grand Prix and coincided with the golden era of the brand founded by Ettore Bugatti. The Type 35 gave more than two thousand victories to the Molsheim House, which include racing the humblest hill climb to the most prestigious Grand Prix.

Classic Motoring Rides and Automobilia Auction

In addition to these novelties, there is no shortage of the usual tours, especially the "Passeio ACP ao Motorclássico" and the premiere of "We Ride Lisbon to Motorclássico", among others.

On Saturday, April 6, starting at 5:00 p.m., the Automobilia Auction will be held and will be a rare opportunity to watch, sell or buy at a specialized auction in historic automobilia and collectibles. Held in partnership with the auctioneer Leilosoc, the auction is open to collectors and visitors who can sign up at the Motorclássico Fair website. The auction catalog will be available at www.leilao-motorclassico.com in the weeks before the event.

Book releases and live online interviews

On Saturday at 5pm, the Motorclássico Fair will also be releasing the book "Henrique Lehrfeld e o Bugatti 35B" written by José Barros Rodrigues.

After the debut in the 2018 edition, Motor Talks are back. During the show, interviews with historical figures and media specialists will be held, broadcasted live online, by Jornal dos Clássicos.

Gaming Center

The Motorclássico Fair will host for the first time a Gaming Center for all visitors who want to experience the thrill of motorsport.

The growing number of visitors and turnover in each of the editions, evidence the impact and influence of the Motorclássico Fair in the classics' market in Portugal. The Motorclássico Fair is organized by Museu do Caramulo in partnership with FIL - Lisbon Exhibition and Congress Centre.
